In this article we will cover the basics of editing a standard or stream event via the ReadyUp admin panel.
- Log in to the ReadyUp Admin
- Select the Events option from the menu on the left side of the screen
- Find the event in the list, you can use the event filters to find it faster.
- Click the "Edit" button at the bottom of the card.
- You should see a new screen that looks like the image below where you can edit all of your event information.
Stream events include one additional field:
|Streamer*||The name of the broadcaster associated with the event||
The table below describes each event field on the page and gives examples for what type of information should be added. A * denotes a required field.
|*Add Cover Photo||This is the main image featured on the event page. It appears in 3:1 format, but a 16:9 image is recommended for external sharing. See our Upload an Image page for more info.||
|*Event Name||The name of your event.||
LCS - Week 5 (Spring 2021)
The event type you initially selected can be changed here. Note that changing the event type will change the fields available.
|Standard, Competition, Stream|
|*Organizer||The organization running this event. Organizations need to be added by ReadyUp staff in order to be available for use. This field will default to your organization.||Riot Games|
|*Start Date/Time||Set the start date and time for your event. Time can be set as TBA if necessary. TBA events will display as all-day events.||January 20, 2021 2:30pm|
|*End Date/Time||Set the end date and time for your event.||January 21, 2021 10:00am|
|*Timezone||This is automatically set to your current time zone.||
(GMT-05:00) Eastern Time - Toronto
|Location||If there is a physical location for the event then uncheck the 'Online Event' box and add a location into the field.||12312 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064, United States|
|Event URL||An official link to the homepage or main web page of the event that is being created.||https://lolesports.com/|
|Description||A description of the event. This can include links to further information on other websites.||The League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) is the top level of professional League of Legends in the United States and Canada.|
|*Games||Select which games are being played at the event.||League of Legends
Other/None - Allows for event flexibility
Various - A variety of games
|Platforms||Select which platform(s) the event is being played on.||PC/Xbox/PS4/Mobile
Others - An event focused on a publisher or dev rather than a specific game
|*Categories||Select which categories this event falls under. This will affect search and filtering options for end-users. Get more information on categories here.||Esports, Professional|
|Languages||Choose the languages for the event.||English|
|Social Channels||Social media channels and accompanying URLs.||https://twitter.com/leagueoflegends|
|Call to Action||Refer to our article on How Call to Actions work.||Buy Merch|
|Stream Links||Link to the stream of the event.||https://twitch.tv/lcs|
|*Sponsors||Sponsor logo, name, and URL. Logos should be square.||Team Razer|
|Event Gallery||Here you can add some additional photos to promote your event. We recommend shots of the crowd, players, or prizes.||N/A|
Track where the traffic originated from. This field is automatically generated based on the event name.
|UTM Medium||Track what type of traffic this is.||cta, email, social, referral|
Track the performance of a specific campaign.
Modify the publish status and save the event with the controls in the bottom right corner of the screen.
